Eleven people from Munich gymnastic society, in which football has not been given sufficient attention, gathered in a restaurant "Gisela".They decided to found a football club.And on Feb. 27, 1900 they founded club Bayern Munich.In the first fifty years of its existence, "Bavaria" is not frequently shown a successful game.
In 1964, the "Bavaria" came a new attacking midfielder Franz Beckenbauer.As one of the best players in world football, a new midfielder made the "Bavaria" one of the most popular modern command not only Germany but also in the world.
Sam Franz Beckenbauer became the president of FC Bayern in 1994.In total since 1957, "Bavaria" thirteen times won Cup Germany, four-time champion became a European Cup and Cup Winners` Cup in 1996.
